CP in Abu Dhabi, UAE

I did my interview in May over there and got the visa in five days. If you have all the necessary documents and go to the embassy early in the morning you should be fine.

Hi..:)

Thank you so much for the reply......

Could you please tell me your interview experience in detail.

Where did you do your medicals. How did it go.

Me too .................

Is anyone doing CP in Abu Dhabi embassy? Or anyone with experience?

I am working and living here in Dubai, I have to do my CP at Abu Dhabi Embassy too, according to what I heard from my friends who already visited the embassy in the past regarding DV, Immediate Relatives & Non Immigrant Visa, things are so great and nice, very smooth and systematic going. I think nothing special here in this, all their embassies all over the world are looking same, I think we should be ready and well prepared, according to what they mentioned, in their required documents instructions sheet, then things will be easy for them and us, all the best to you all ...............................

I sent you a PM.

I did the medicals at Dubai (there is a few clinics to choose from) the day before the interview and the results were ready in 2 hours. At the embassy you need to have either UAD currency or a credit card since they do not accept dollar. The interview was basically to verify our documents and make sure that all the information that we provided on the entry and in the first set of forms were accurate. If you have all the supporting documents there would be nothing to worry about. Good luck buddy!

Hi..

Could you please tell me where you did your medicals. And why was it done the day before the interview?
How was the medical performed. Did you have to take any vaccines?

My wife has been selected for DV2009 and CN is AF20090027***. We have been living in Dubai for the last 12 years and spent a year and a half from 2006 to mid July 2007 in Singapore. For the interview,
a) Do i require a certificate of conduct from Dubai police?
b) Any other matters that i should be aware off.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hi...

It is stated in the 1st package of documents that police certificates are not required from UAE and Iran. So you will only have to get a police certificate from Singapore.

Lets keep in touch...:)

Do you know if the police certificate is required only for primary applicants or is it for dependants as well?

Thanks

I lived in UAE for 1 year 1996-1997, would they not accept a police certificate
if my CP is not in UAE??
I already went through alot of trouble to get it :(:(

No that is not the case...

I am a current resident in UAE, so the embassy does not require a police certificate from me for UAE. I guess it will be obtained by the embassy on my behalf.

Since you are a former resident, you will have to produce a police certificate from UAE for respective emabssy you are doing CP.

I am a dependant and dont have a original birth certificate. However, my wife who is a primary applicant has birth certificates.

Is this good enough considering i am a dependant and all my birth details are in my Passport?

Appreciate your responses.

Thanks

From what I know, you will have to produce a birth certificate.

You seem to be from Africa right. May be you should post this question in a thread where you would get more relavent responses. (There are nigerain/kenyan threads I notice)

Hi all...

My interview has been scheduled in January at 10 in the morning in the abu dhabi embassy. I am wondering what time should I be there for queing and security checks? Perhaps around 9 in the morning. Will that be enough?

All the best

buwalagos,
