CP gurus ...need Help !!!

I-140 AD 2/6/02 from TSC. I had indicated CP from Delhi so to make sure I called the IIO today and was told that the 140 was not approved CP !!!

What can I do now?? I really want to do CP? I waited 11 months for my approval and now TSC screws me .....
 
Do you have a lawyer?

It will be much easier if your lawyer makes TSC to correct its mistake and let you do CP instead of AOS without filing for change of AOS -> cp forms etc.

Also what makes you think you were approved for AOS and not for CP? Did they send you a letter indicating that?
NVC will always give you an option of doing AOS if you are already in the US.. even when your 140 has been approved CP
 
I do have a lawyer ... My case has been approved but

when I talked with the IIO about whether its for CP as indicated in the application, she said "NO" !!!

I really want to go for CP and not wait 2 yrs for AOS through TSC !!!!
 
I had simmilar problem with TSC

I faxed them copy of I140 petition highlighting request for cp. Lawyer followed it up with certified mail request and clled them too. TSc finally approved it for cp but it took 6 months. You might want to consider filing I824 and then do AC140 with the I824 receipt which you will probably get get within a month. Talk to your lawyer and pressure them to call TSC to correct error. TSC has frequently missed cp and approved for aos.
