Consular Processing (CP) is the third stage of the Green card Processing route.
Stage 1: Labor (State & Federal)
Stage 2: I-140 (Employer interested in sponsoring an individual's Resident status)
Stage 3: AOS or CP
AOS: Adjustment of status, accomplished while staying in US.
