- Went in at 8am. was seated under the shed for about 1/2 hour after which we were ushered into the compound.
Note: Do not take any large opaque bags. I took transparent plastic bags and was fine.
- Sat under the tent for another 15 minutes after which we went into the building and submitted our documents as per the list provided with the appointment letter.
They do not ask for anything more initially. They give you an address label for the blue dart courier service and ask you to pay the initial processing fees at the cashiers counter.
After that I waited outside for another 15-20 minutes after which we were sworn in by a lady.
The final wait starts after that under the tent. Individual names are called out one by one on the speaker. I was called right in the beginning and went up to the counter.
To my surprise, there was an indian guy at the counter and he asked me for my 2000 tax returns, blue dart draft and address label and recent pay stub.
he gave me back my birth certificate original and kept the copy.
The only anomaly to an otherwise mundane day, occured when he said that my birth certificate did not have my name on it and wanted school records that indicated my DOB. I had a fleeting temptation to tell him that we dont have names on Birth certificates in this part of the world, but refrained from doing so. I handed him my 10th marks memo original. I wasnt carrying a copy, so he kept it and said that he would send it back with blue dart and my passport.
Note: Carry a copy of your 10th marks memo if possible.
After that he asked me to pay my issuance fee and it was all over in a matter of about 5 minutes.
sad but true.

Additional footnotes:
Stayed at hotel Ranjith. It\'s a bit better than what you would expect from a 30$ motel.
Pros:

No Title

EB2. Attorney certified copies of transcripts, H1 approvals etc. but these were not required and not asked for.
I did not do the attorney certified processing, if that is what you are asking.

"The list"

The link posted above is the one I posted and used. You should be able to find the original SRIFX posting on this portal if you do a search for SRIFX.
