CP as main applicant and AOS as a spouse!

I am planning on applying for my CP with my wife as spouse and my wife\'s AOS(I-485) with me as spouse. I was wondering if any one on this thread has any experience in a similar situation and figured out any thing solid on this. My lawyer seems to think we can do it. But we need to drop one of the processes when we get A#s.

Should be ok

I had a 485 in the TSC pipeline and just came back from doing CP as a derivative on my wifes case. No problem. They will issue you new A#\'s for CP although you already have A#\'s from the AOS case. I think the AOS A#\'s are assigned by INS and the CP A#\'s are assigned by Dept of State. Not 100% sure. Just guessing.
