Hi all,

I got P3,getting married next month. How can I add my wife to the GC?

Some of you might have been in my situation.
Experienced friends..
Pl. reply, how you guys added your wife thru. CP and got GC.

I had seen some threads that say's add wife name in P3 itself. Some says it's not possible to add wife at this stage, Have to call
NVC and send the marriage cert. so they send a new P3 for me and my wife and it takes extra 3 months.

Bottom line is I don't want to wait 5-6 years for my wife to get the GC(If i marry after getting the GC).

What's the worst case in CP reg. marriage?
I add my wife name during the interview and wait for P3 for my wife.How long it takes to get P3 for my wife.

any help is appreicated.

Hi,

I was in similar situation. Since you only got the p3 form now, you can wait to submit your p3 till you get married which is what I did. But check with your lawyer if you can add her later. I would suggest to hold the p3 submision till you have the mariage cert. available.
