CP and I485 filed by H and W together

My hubby and I applied for GC separately in our companies. Hubby did I140/485 con-current filing earlier in his company and I did I140/CP later. I just got my 140 approved, hubby hasn't got his I140 approved yet.
Can I go on with my CP process? Or we need terminate his application first?

All suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you.

You can proceed with your CP case without actually terminating the AOS
process of your husband. The can run parallel till one of the processes finishes.

But you may want to look out for the following:

Is your category EB3 ? if so, what is your priority date (PD is the date when
your LC was received by DOL).

If you belong to EB3 and your priority date is not current then you will have
to wait till it becomes current.

I'm EB2, my attorney did not tell me when the case was received by DOL, it is somewhere around May 2004.

Does EB2 means my case is current and will be processed soon?
 
No problem with EB2

EB2 is current at this time and you don't need to worry about Priority Date. Make sure your husband's name was included in your 140.
