Hello,
I am applying for my I-485. i also want to write a cover letter. my question is... to whom should i address the letter. please reply. also i would like to know whether i should mention the enclosures in the cover letter? Thank you.

Believe it or not, try to get the letter prepared by an experienced immigration attorney. It makes a world of difference. If you are confident, you can take a sample format from any of your existing non-immigrant petitions. It is similar.
