Court Record

My wife was granted voluntary departure 15 years ago. She is now ready to apply for US citizenship. In order to prepare her application, We'd like to know where to get the court record? All the paper work she was given at that time was lost. Do we just call the court and ask them to send us a copy? Thanks.

Did she got her GC after the voluntary departure under the same A Number?
If so, then all of those will already be a part of USCIS A-File.
You can request a copy of her A- File under freedom of information act.

If USCIS has your file, why do you still need to get from USCIS and re-submit it? Juts tell USCIS the file is with them already

Thanks for the help. After the voluntary departure, she left US, and came back to US 5 years later, and then after another 5 years, got the GC. I don't know if she had an A number when she first entered US. The A number she currently has was assigned to her when she applied for GC (which was after her second entry to US).

What is in A-File and where to request it? Thanks.

Incorrect.

My last FOIA was returned with the Copy of the A-file in 5 weeks last month.
It is processed in Lees Summit, MO at the main warehouse of A-files and usually have a even better turn around time.
The only thing that might delay that request is if a DO has it for a case that is being processed, but it seems like the OP has not filed N-400 yet and it should still be there.

If she was granted voluntary departure she would definitely will have a A-number associated with it. Now you may have not known and USCIS may have used the same A- number to grant the GC under. Only one way to find out like I mentioned, request the copy of A-File.
