Court order after a Mandamus petition for citizenship

Good Morning All,

After I filled a Mandamus petition to have the USCIS adjudicate on my case, my lawyer and the government attorney agreed on a stipulation that will give the USCIS to take a decision within two weeks once the court order is issued.

I checked my case on PACER and found that a petition to remand has been filed few days ago.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the judge to issue the order after the petition to remand has been filed?

I can't give you the exact time it will take, depends on the load of the court which it was assigned and the judges court load. If it was filed few days ago, give it about 2 more weeks and see where in the process it will be, patience is your only hope to avoid explosion of frustration....:)
 
Am into 95 days with NO Oath Ceremony. Can I sue?

It is not that I am NOT recommended for approval. I am. But, due to the namechange backlog in Atlanta, it seems like it will take several more months to get the Oath. Will cases that wait for Oath can sue USCIS after the mandatory 120-max wait-time period?

Sue them for what? Why don't you just be patient... you sound like an American already! SUE SUE SUE... <rolls eyes>

You can try writing your DO (make sure you include your case number), perhaps it should make them open your file and at least respond to your letter or even do something to wrap things up. I'm less than a month after interview and plan to write them every month until I get a decision.
