Hi,I had a speeding ticket issued 2 years ago.At that time I went to the local court and paid a fine of $90.I did not have any hearing with the judge.I just took a defensive driving course to have the ticket dismissed. The court did not issue me any copy regarding this. The defensive driving course mailed me 2 certificates---one was a court copy and the other was an insurance copy.I just had to mail the court copy to the court. The course people said no further action was needed.
So will the INS officer accept that def. Driving certificate b'cos I have no court issued certificate as I did not contend the case.I also have certificates issued by the Department of public safety about my driving record ,which clearly staes that I took a def.Driving course and that i have no other DUI or other serious traffic violations. So will these 2 documents be enough for the INS officer? Thanks for the help.
