Hi Everyone

I am pretty much ready for the journey. I am extremely excited about the whole process, I hope I can also give good news like the other people did before :) So here are my questions , if you can answer them briefly , I really appreciate it . Thanks a lot in advance

1) On my Green Card , it says I am resident since August 27, 2004.. So , for my knowledge , I will be eligible to apply by May 27, 2009 ( before 90 days ).. But, I am planning to send my documents by 06-03-2009 which is 1 week after my 90 days ..

I got a traffic ticket 2 months ago and they scheduled the court on 06/15/2009. This is a minor traffic ticket which i like to fight.. So, my question is :

Should I wait until I clear the court decision ? Or I will be fine if I send my documents on 06/03/2009 ?

2) I filled out the N400 with a blue pen with Capital letters , is that okay ? It says black ink pen somewhere but does it really matter blue or black ?

3) Part 6 Section B : I listed my employers and schools attended . But , the space provided was not enough.. So , I attach a little empty paper and write the extra info. I attach with transparent plastic tape to the end of page 3 .. Do you think it is fine ?

4) On the form , it says USCIS A Number : Is that the number they stamped at the airport when I first entered the country with green card documents ?

5) Part 11 : Your signature : I will date the N400 and sign this part before send it right ?

6) I got Passport pictures from CVS. They look okay , white font at the back and 2 by 2 I guess. Sounds correct ?

7) Postal service : I am planning to send by USPS with delivery confirmation. Is that normally everybody does ?

8) Last question : I will send n400, 2 pictures , $675 personal check . Any other additional documents ?

I am sorry if some of them sounds retarded, I have been keep reading and following the forum. But, I do not want to make any kind of mistake , i am way to anxious about this process .That is way i am asking these questions again. Thanks for your patience and help..

No need to wait for court decision before you send your application. You'll be able to bring court decision and proof of payment to interview.

2) I filled out the N400 with a blue pen with Capital letters , is that okay ? It says black ink pen somewhere but does it really matter blue or black ?
They won't reject your application on the basis of using a blue pen. Try using what they ask, even if the end result is the same.
3) Part 6 Section B : I listed my employers and schools attended . But , the space provided was not enough.. So , I attach a little empty paper and write the extra info. I attach with transparent plastic tape to the end of page 3 .. Do you think it is fine ?
Make sure to list name and A# on additional sheet. No need to use transparent tape.
4) On the form , it says USCIS A Number : Is that the number they stamped at the airport when I first entered the country with green card documents ?
It's the A# on your green card.
5) Part 11 : Your signature : I will date the N400 and sign this part before send it right ?
Correct.
6) I got Passport pictures from CVS. They look okay , white font at the back and 2 by 2 I guess. Sounds correct ?
Correct.
7) Postal service : I am planning to send by USPS with delivery confirmation. Is that normally everybody does ?
Some send by regular mail, some with UPS or Fedex. Although not required, delivery confirmation gives you piece of mind.
8) Last question : I will send n400, 2 pictures , $675 personal check . Any other additional documents ?
Back and front copy of GC as well. The guide has useful info when sending out the application.

Regarding question 2:
2) I filled out the N400 with a blue pen with Capital letters , is that okay ? It says black ink pen somewhere but does it really matter blue or black ?
You can fill the form electronically by opening the N-400 PDF form in Adobe Acrobat and save the copy. I am doing this.

Bobsmyth/Others, Please let me know if this is OK. I am not using pen for filling the form except signing.

Bob , thanks a lot for your answers.. One last question , In 5 years , I did 7 trips to my native country. None of them are more than 100 days. Totally , I stayed 413 days out of the USA. Do you think , the interview officer might not like this ? I was a full time student first years of my GC and I was going for summer vacation couple times so those are the times I stayed around 3 months , thats it..
