County of San Diego

Today i received a job offer from the County of San Diego. I spoke to my attorney and he believes that county of San Diego is exempt from the H1b cap (non -profit and has some affliiliations). However i am really scared to ask the County if they are willing to sponsor my H1 visa. I really wanted this job, so i will be dissapointed to loose it. My question is does anyone have any idea whether the County of San Diego sponsors H1 visas? any information will be greatly appreciated....i know i have to ask but i just want to prepare myself before i ask.

If they need you they will sponser you. But you need to talk to them, some time they scared to go for immigration problem , you may get some attorney's help topersue your matter with county.
