I understand that one can stay upto 6 years on H1B visa. How's the duration counted if there are breaks? For example, if someone gets a H1B visa for 3 years and:-
1.He stays in USA for 10 months, comes back to India for 4 months
2. Goes to USA again for 1 month and comes back to India for 5 months
3. Goes to USA again for 13 months and comes back to India for 2 months
In above case, is the total duration counted as 10 + 1 + 13 = 24 months OR sum of all (10+4+1+5+13+2 = 35 months) ????
