Hi, Folks:
I just get started to apply for GC. Now I\'m not sure
whether EB1 or NIW(vermont) is more appropriate for me. I hired a
lawyer and he suggested me to go through NIW because I\'m too young
(lawyer\'s words, i.e. not well career established??). So could you guys
give me some advices?? Thanks!! The following are my information:
Acdemic Background:
1 year Research Scientist(present) in a national anti-cybercrime and
anti cyberterrorism research center.
2 years postdoc. in an Ivy League Univ. (computer networking).
5 year Ph.D. from a wellknown Univ. in China (Electrical and Computer Eng.)
4 year B.S. in ECE too.
Publications:
2 IEEE/ACM Journal Papers.
1 another International Journal Paper.
3 Chinese Journal Papers.
11 IEEE/ACM conference papers.
Achivements:
1. Technical Member of Advisory Board for the biggest international
network security research and training organiztion.
2. "Best paper" nomination in a international conference.
3. Reviewed a lot of papers from international conference and journals
Research:
Working in a national anti cybercrime and anti cyberterrorism
research center founded by DoJ, FBI and NIPC( National critical
Protection Center). I\'m in charge of:
1. Investigating and designing a electronical national critical
infrastructure protection system.
2. Designing an Internet backbone connectivity monitoring system for
early warning.
Could you guys give me any advice about which gategory I should apply??
