I'm one of those who are frustrated with the non-progressive visa number for NIW. I'm really trying to figure a way out rather than sit and wait for indefinite time. How about submitting EB1 outstanding researcher? Let's say it's approved. As the visa number for EB1 is current, could this be a way out of waiting for NIW's visa number moving forward? I also wonder whether there is any downside by doing so. Anyone has experience in this?
