I'd like to know how much money we will need to process GC from TN status. I was told once that it would cost 10 grand for a four person family including lawyer's fee. I know that the cost will be higher when we have to pay more money for all the processing fees starting from this month.
Q1. How much will it be for two persons (my children are pretty much grown up. I and mywife only are applying for GC)
Q2. My company will sponser GC but I was told that I will have to pay some portion of it. Maybe half. In this case, can I ask the employer to pay the whole thing? I'd like to hear your experience regarding this. I haven't started the processing yet but will do it in a month or two. My employer has never done this for a TN status holder.
