hello everyone,

Last year I came here to the US visiting my parents on a B1/B2 5 year multiple visit visa. I was able to change my status in to F1 upon gaining admission in to the university but now I want to leave.

My question is if I leave the US for good now, will my visit visa still be valid? Incase I want to visit again or would I have to apply all the visit visa again?

Some one told me if you convert from B1/B2 to F1 that automatically voids your B1/B2. Is that true?

So I should not have any trouble visiting the US again, rite? Is there a procedure or a certain department that I will need to inform obviously apart from my university that I do not intend to study in the US any longer prior to leaving?

I see no issues and there is no department you need to inform.
