How many copies of AP does USCIS send after approval ?

I got 2 copies.
I read somewhere that they send 3 copies
~ one for the airline,
~ one for USCIS at port of entry and
~ one for yourself that is stamped everytime you travel.

Please confirm... Thanks a bunch...

Getting 2 copies is quite possible.
Same copy can be used as many times as you can.
For re-entry, the officeer can stamp outside of the first stamp(box).
No need to give copy to anyone.

They send 3 copies. But I thought each was valid for one re-entry. Is not that the case ?

Where do we get the AP documents?

HI,

Do we get the AP docs at our address, lawyer's address or the employer's address?

Thanks

You get 3 copies.
At the port of entry they stamp one.
Not sure if the same one can be used again or not.
I got my EAD and AP at my home address.

I've heard that TSC gives only 2 copies

NSC and others (likely) give 3 copies.

I would suggest you keep a few photocopies of the AP papers when you travel -- that way if anyone other than US POE officers ask for your AP, you can give them a copy.
Don't give your original to anyone else.

Sometimes USCIS retains one AP at POE - they always give you back 1 copy stamped - you need that stamped copy for future travels on that AP.
