How many copies of AP are given on approval.

I have 2 ( with photo) original approvals from INS.

Is it right?

DO you have to give airline one and INS one.

My lawyer said that even 1 woudl be fine . They will retrun them back to us.

Also , she said to carry I-485 receipt with me .

Is there anything I need to carry.

Have used AC21 using EAD and changed company after 180 days.

DO I need any paystub, letter from new co ?

2 copies of AP are correct. You need to bring both of them for some reason. INS port officer will check them and give them back to you. Nobody should take any copy of the AP.

Bring I-485 receipt with you. That is all you need.
 
Doesn't the transport official (airline) take a photocopy of the AP while boarding? I don't want to give my originals to anyone unless INS asks for it.
