Can a vistor stay back if she gets married unexpectedly to a person who has a H1 visa ?
This is all the information I have. Anyone on the same boat or who has seen this process and knows of any problem that can occur ?
H4 Extension/ Change of status to H4

If you are filing for H4 extension or change your status to H4 as the dependent of an H1B employee, you should file FORM I-539 . You must submit a copy of H1B holder's FORM I-94, H1B approval notice and evidence of your relationship (Example: Marriage certificate if spouse, Birth certificate if children)
Please help, my friend needs some guidance. on where he should get married. The girl is on a vistor visa and the boy has a work visa and cannot go to india to get married at the moment.
