Conversion from L1b visa to H1B

Hi

Currently I am working on L1b visa and I am planning to shift to another company who will sponser H1b visa. My wife currently has an EAD and it is valid upto 2005. I would like to if I transfer to another company who sponsers H1B, will EAD be still valid

If your wife's EAD is based on your L1, then her EAD becomes invalid once you switch to H1.
