Contractor Bond/Job Change

Hi,

I signed a bond/contract with my contractor. However, he couldnt place me anywhere. Well I had contacts so I got an offer and made my contractor sign an agreement and thus moved to US near abt 3 month back. My contractor didnt even pay my air ticket from India. Now my client is ready to offer me but my contractor doesnt agree. The only option left for me is to find aa job and quit the contractor. Could anyone share the legal implication if I break the bond. What i have heard is that In US employer cant have the bond as it is considered as manipulation of working conditions. Can my employer sue me. Can my H1 be cancelled.

Pls. guide me through the same.

All depends on the contents of the agreement yu signed with employer. You have read in between lines, if you need seek legal advise from a labor law attorney other than an immigration attorney.
