Continuous residency in the State for 3 months prior to filing

I filed my n-400 in 3/2009 and had FP taken.
I just discovered while reading here naturalization requirement on some posts here that I might not at all qualify for naturalization, because filed my n-400 upon coming back from 3 months stay out of the US ( Dec-Jan-Feb).
I do satisfy all other requirement, but if this is true -
"Continuous residency in the State or INS District where you are applying, for 3 months prior to filing the petition for naturalization"

I have always been in the same State, but been away during those IMMEDIATE 3 months prior to filing.
I might need to pull off my application before the interview. any help would be appreciated.

You don't have to physically be in the state for the 3 months directly prior to applying. If you completed the 3 months before going away on your trip, and then returned to the same state/district, that is good enough to satisfy the requirement.

I don't think it takes into account. Vacations or just short things. I moved to San Diego from close by and was getting ready to file when I noticed that rule. I had just moved about a month and a half and so waited a month and a half. I just moved 80 mi and fell into a diff D/O. CA has so many D/Os.
I think you should be ok as you didn't move and that is your primary?
