Does that apply to traveling abroad for business and/or vacation as well? I mean, are we required to not leave the country at all after applying for naturalization or are you referring to extended absence from the US?
Now I didn't say you couldn't leave the country... just that you are still subject to the same limitations as you were prior to applying for N-400. i.e. no single trip longer than 6 months, 30 months accumulated physical presence over the last 5 yrs, and minimum 90 day legal residency in the district.
That's the stat I can never remember how long it is. 30 months accumulated physical presence.
So if your business or personal trip outside the US will push you over that 30 months then yes it is a problem. If it does not then no you won't have a problem. Same applies at the same time to 90 day residency in the district.
So it doesn't matter what the trip is for as long as those 2 criteria are met...
