Submitted by N-400 application in April of this year. I am a flight attendant for a major American airline and have made numerous trips out of the country, both for work (required) and pleasure (not required). The thing is, after receiving my green card in June 2006 (when I also graduated from university in my native country), I continued to work part-time in my native country until January 2007, when I officially started work with my US airline employer. Between June 2006 and January 2007, I made short trips to my residence in the United States and to interview for US jobs. I was hired by my airline employer in November 2006, but only with a start date of January 2007, which is why I kept my part-time job in my native country. My total days out of the country I listed on my application in the last 5 years was about 735. My interview went well, but I was told by the officer than it had to have a supervisor review due since my number of days out of the country was “close to the threshold of 913.” He also mentioned they were going to verify by US entrance/exits with the system from customs and border patrol. I noticed via the online status system that my supervisor review was finished within 2 days of my interview.

My online status is now in “Post Decision” and says
“…the supervisor review of your case was completed. We will mail you a notice once a final decision has been made. Please wait to receive the notice before you contact USCIS.”

I know most of you will tell me to wait it out for the letter from USCIS, but I am extremely antsy. Is this reason for my application to be denied? I did not make any trip over 6 months from the US, however I had over 100 trips outside the US, much of which were work related. Is the fact that my supervisor review lasted only 2 days a good sign? Please advise.

I very highly doubt it. You are still meeting the physical presense requirement and most of your travel was for a US airline. I am very confident you will get your oath invitation soon.
