Contacting the Asylum Office

Hi guys,

Can we contact the asylum office to ask about the final approval for someone on recommended approval?

if yes, is it by writing to them? can we fax, or call??

Only you or your lawyer can contact the asylum office to inquire about your application. A third party has no right to do so. But they don't give detailed information over the phone. You or your lawyer (if you have one) can send a status inquiry and to get faster response you can as well fax the status inquiry to the asylum office.

I would write, call, fax, email, go there myself. Do whatever to get there attention. Bother them once in a few weeks. Being nice and cooperative goes a long way as to how they process your case.
