Contacting congressman/senator

:confused: Well. I am in an interesting situation.

My company files all immigrant applications under "so-called" central filing system at TCS. So it does not matter that my job is located in Chicago,IL

Now i want to contact a congressman /senator to move my case fwd . Should i contact a local IL congressmen /senator or i should try to find some in texas.

I know it may sound strange ..I just wanted to check if anyone else have
had a similar experiense.

Here I am..just like you...I contacted both local congressman and senator..

They were very helpful..

when did first contact the congressman/senator ? Was that before your I-140 process currrent ? What are the congressman/senator's name?

How did you know that your name is cleared on Nov 11,03 ?

Can you pls share format/text of the letter to Conressman or senator and/or for a name check?

Do not wait ..Just do it..I waited for 2 years thinking that my FP will happen automatically...It never happened..

After 2 years of waiting I contacted both senator and congressman..They responded at various stages..Congressman replied within a month telling me that I will get FP within 3-4 weeks..I got FP notice within 5 days of receiving congressman's letter..

Senator replied to me after 2.5 months telling me that my wife's case is with an officer ...We got our approval emails within a month after that... :D :D
