Contacted Senator\'s Office and informed that case with officer.

My RD is 2/1, and I had RFE, for which evidence was provided in March. When I contacted senator\'s office, they in turn checked with INS, and informed me that my case is with an officer. Usually how long does it take for officer to approve my case. Your thoughts are appreciated.
