Last Friday I contacted with the Senator's office in Delaware. After calling the office they connected me to Senator's Immigration aide. She just asked my name, EAC number and address and said she will contact with me later; however, she did not ask about the information release form. Which is a common form that everybody has to sign if any Congressman or Senator's office need to request INS about anybody's status.
Anyway, today I called her again to check whether she needs anything else or called INS. She told me she has already talked with INS and they told her my file is assigned with an officer and I should hear something from them in 60 days. She also told me that she is going to write a letter to me and will mention all her conversation with the INS. That means it will be in writing from senator's office that they actually contacted with INS and INS promised them that they would make a decision within 60 days.
If I really get the letter from Senator's office and if I really get approved within 60 days I am thinking to arrange a fund raising party for the Senator in this Summer.
