This posting may not be in the best forum (frankly, I couldn't figure out where to post it) but maybe somebody can give me an idea or point to a few websites where I can get costs for health insurance.
My company (consulting) is charging very high monthly premiums, almost
$700/month for health insurance in the State of California. I've always had full time jobs before and have never paid more than a third for premiums for BCBS. This is my first gig with consulting and I find the premiums outlandish.
Is this reasonable in CA? Should I rather check out private insurance (is there one in America) to get covered?
Please advise.
Thanks!
