Hello Everyone,
I have an issue with a consulate officer. I'm a green card holder who just graduated with a bachelor of software engineer. My sister is also a green card holder . Our mother received a visa to the US 4 years ago. From that time, she came visit us and return to her original country. She has visited us for the last 3 years and returned to her country. Now, my father wanted to visit us. However, he got refused a visa twice by the same consulate due to not convincing him that he will return to his country after the visit. My father is 56 years old , who has properties and family ties in his original country. Yet, this consular seems to be picking on my father and not giving him a visa.
The first time , my father was refused a visa. I personally called the embassy and i talk to the consular. He said and i quote" Your father should convince me that he will return to his country, he can schedule an appointment next monday and prove to me that he has commercial ties and family ties in the original country. " So, i called my father and told him that he needed to bring documentation of his properties and the binding rentals contract of these properties. Then, he should reschedule for another interview.
When he went to the second interview, this consular make sure that my father paid the fees for the interview and said that the interview process can not be remade within the same week and refuse his visa.
So, clearly this consular is rejecting my father for personal reasons. Now, I'm seeking help on how to resolve this issue. I truly understand that my father have to be granted a permission to get a visa and that the consulate is responsible for this choice. But, in my situation, the consular decision is purely personal and racial. So, I'm seeking help on how to proceed from now.
What should i do ? Should i sent an email to the ambassador, make a complaint to the DHS , hire a lawyer or contact the News to expose the practice of the consular.
Please advice me.
Thank you for your time.
