Hi,

Can someone help me on this please:

I140 is applied requesting for CP at Mumbai(as my H1 got approved from Mumbai in those days). However, my permanent address in passport belongs to Delhi. Will it be any issue processing the CP in Mumbai ? Will they accept it ? or Can I call INS or NVC and change the consulate ? Is this possible ?

Anyone has any experience...

You said you have requested CP in Mumbai but your passport has a New Delhi address. Have they told you that you cannot apply for CP in Mumbai since your PP has a Delhi address? If not, why jump to conclusions. Just wait and see what they say.
 
I had the same situation

but nvc wont give mumbai they will give new delhi to you.

I worked in bombay before coming to US and I belong to North india ... I was given delhi.

CP experience in Islamabad after Sept 11

Anybody had a successful CP experience in Islamabad after Sept 11. Please share your experience and the process of getting interview date and rest of the details if possible.

how does nvc knows whether to send it to delhi or mumbai ? do they figure out based on the address in passport ?
