Consular processing options

Hi,

My priority date for the GC processing (EB2) is April 2008. As per the September dates its at May 2006 or so. I have an option to go to the UK for a minimum of one year, possibly extend it further. My current H1-B which is an extension is March 2013.

If I stay in the UK and within 2 years my priority date becomes current, can I still proceed with the Green Card processing? Will this be through Consular Processing?

Can I return to the UK in a year on the H1-B since this is still valid?

Thanks in advance,
Jayanthan

yes you can go do that...you will be scheduled an interview at the consulate in India and an appointment letter will be sent to you when the visa bulletin reaches April 2008...you need to take an offer letter+Police clearance certificate+birth certificate etc...
Once they issue the immigrant visa stamping, you have 6 months to enter USA...All the best
