Consular processing at Canada???Possible??

I am a INDIAN. If file I-485 for CP, do I have a choice to select any other consulate in canada or mexico rather than in INDIA? I mean as Canada or Mexico is nearby, Do I have option to process I-485 with CP options either at Canada or Mexico???

I need this feeback. Please reply, if somebody knows the answer.

It says "foreign person's country of nationality".


I believe border countries (Canada or Mexico) can only process certain non-immigrant visas if you are not a national of Canada or Mexico.

Do I have option to process I-485 with CP options
------ You can only file I-140 with CP option, I-485 is AOS or adjustment of status that is filed in US and approved IN US
With CP option: NO AC21, if denied at consulate you cannot appeal
With AOS or I-485: AC21 option after I-140 gets approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days, if RFE lawyer can reply If denied you can request Motion to reconsider or motion to reopen And can also go for Appeal
