Hi Everybody, am back after a long hiatus. While all of us are cursing the INS tortoise my colleague and good friend quietly choose to pursue the CP route and he got his GC approved at Bombay y'day. Had he gone the AOS route he would have been a WAC-02-08o something guy stillwating like all of us, me included to live another day!

The interview process was very thorough and based purely on the documentation support that my organisation and our Lawyer meticulously prepared.

For you data driven folks his was

Dec 2001 140 approval
Jan 2002 - brainwave to go for CP against common wisdom
Dec 2002 - CP approval

So you smart ones out there who still have a chance to change to CP do it NOW!

For the rest of us I have prayed in Tirupathi, Puttparathi, Vaishnodevi and any other gods who can give us a semblance of hope and some direction to return to sanity!!!!!

Thanks for praying...

Hope it works. Any way, against the wishes of my Attorney I filed for AOS. I should have listened to him. My friends 140 was approved in Feb'02 he went for CP and he got his GC in November'02. In my friends case he went against the advice of his attorney and filed a CP.

I used to work in a company. There was a girl there who was a typical desi housewife, had no background in computers and was working as a computer person there. She was a total DUD, and I had to do all her work.

My manager told me he can't fire her because headcount in a dot com counted. My manager said they couldn't raise my salary even though I do her whole damned work, because it's just not done.

My manager told me that my hard work will be paid of as USA rewards merit, and she will never survive the competitive nature of this country.

My manager told me, I have a great bright future, because I knew damned everything and had a great attitude to work.

My manager always told me, that America is very fair when it comes to rewarding work and capability.

She was always late for work, always shrugging responsibility and always pointing fingers. I was always the problem solver.

To her family was important. To me, career was important.

Well, she got laid off, couldnt' find another job because she didn't know how to shut down a windows machine. She had to go to India, applied her GC thru Consular processing, with fake papers. She got her approval in around 6 months. She showed up here. Called me. And said, "I got my approval, I guess the US government must have done some research and figured I could add a lot of value to their country".

I called my ex-manager, and told him to shove his theory and his American fairness laden INS up his ass.

I had both EB2 and EB3 I140 approvals, Used my EB2 to apply for 485 last october. Should have applied for both? hindsight 20/20!
Wondering, if it is too late now? Any suggestions!
