Consular Notification

Hi,
I have seen in most of the Threads a Word
"Consular Notification".

Wat does it mean and how is it related to H1b application filing.

is requesting INS to send a copy of the h1 approval to the consulate where you will /can go for stamping. Most of the first time H1s have consular notification.
Even if you apply for a change of status from within US, asking for consular notification means that you want the option of stamping done at the home country consulate.

On the day my H1b Ext approved after we replied for RFE, I got the message of "The POE and the Consulate has been informed by Cable OR Fax OR email regarding the approval of this Case". from the automated message system of TSC.

What does the above msg mean. Now i am going for stamping in India, is the above msg going to create any problem?. I am always in status in US.

INS english...

that is INS english that says the consulate (and POE) knows that your h1 is approved and so they will not be surprised when you present the I797 approval to them!!!
It says " expect this bloke to come for stamping and entry into US" or It has done "consular notification"
