Consequences of restraining order against green card holder?

Are there any green card renewal or travel problems that can arise if you are a green card holder and somebody has filed a restraining order against you?This is a civil not domestic RO.

Unless there's a court order that prohibited you from travel abroad, otherwise no problems.
 
Hi All,

I have been arrested for Tresspassing to my xgfs house. I am in supervision for that crime...Immediately she got a Restraining order against me, which is valid until 2011.

I am in H1B visa in united states.

1) How will this restraining order affect my future stamping issues?
2) Will this create any problem in the port of entry whenever i try to enter the country?

Strong trespassing against your ex-gf, what it wrong with you? Find another woman dude, this has negative implications on your character. In future H1B visa renewal, this might come in play or if you eventually apply for GC. Stay away from any criminal elements.

I learned my lesson. But the question is...

I am not arrested for any DV. Will this restraining order and Tresspassing to land (This is not a CIMT) makes me inadmissable or any issues to get a US visa?
