Consequences for rescheduling FP

Update:
I sent the letter to re-schedule my FP 6 weeks back but have still not heard anything, When I called they say it could be several months before I will hear anything. My question is: Is delaying FP halts the whole N-400 process or someting keeps on happening in parallel?
 
Well, I called INS today and they say it is okay to take the photo copy of FP notice and get fingerprinted. Before I was told photo copy of FP notice is not aceptable.
Any clues if photo copy will be accepted?
 
Most people dont know.You dont have to go on the day that letter states.You can go in anytime depending what day they do walkthrus.Which is mostly on Saturday .It is def better than reschduling.Cause now you are hanging in air :(
 
They just check the letter.I dont think it matters if ti original or photo copy.They will stamp it and give it back to yuo.I would just take trip down there and try it out.
 
I had to send my re-scheduled letter to the local finger print office in chicago. They scheduled it in a couple of weeks for the next saturday. They messed up, because the office was closed because of columbus day but i walked in the office on the next tuesday (Office was closed on Monday) and they took me right away.
