I would appreciate if someone could provide me the following details as per their past experience

a) Who is the congressman for Alameda county ?
b) How do I contact them ? Should I send a letter to them or visit their office?
c) What format should be the letter and what should I ask them to do ?

I sent a letter asking for assistance in "FBI NAME check" program,
they contacted me and sent a request to FBI ( FBI called me in one week
saying that it's cleared after being pending for 21 months).
 
Thanks Vitality. Can you give me a little more details please. Did you go to the office or you sent an email or snail mail to Barbara lee? After that did they contact you via phone or post ?

Iam planning to go there directly and talk to someone and give a written document asking for help . Its been more than 2 years now since they have kept my case pending
