I called the National Status check numbers and requested inquiring on my case one month ago. I received the reply yesterday, which stated "your case is still pending".

Does this mean they have looked at my file?

How congressional inquiry do us any good if BCIS still says our cases are still pending?

Any idea?
 
The purpose is not get meaningful reply from BCIS (which we all know that will be meaningless anyway). The purpose is to make the Senators/Congressman aware as to whats going on. Don't assume that they all keep an eye on I-485 processing times. These two CA senators are very powerful and may raise the issue in Senate (if big number of people send them letters).

Just my openion.

If the purpose is to draw Senators/Congressmen's attention, instead of BCIS's, then we should not use the sample letter provided by dalewarner.com. We should address our sufferings and attach the petition.
