Recently, we have to seek help from congressional office to obtain 2nd fp notice or solve other emergency issues.
Let's post information about each congressman/senators here.
I'll start with Massachusetts.
Massachusetts
Senator - Kennedy, office not helpful. immigration director there
doesn't pick up phone. (D)
(Examples:
comment, when he passed 20 month he asked Kennedy office for help, Emily Winterson 617-565-3170. but they told they will take care about request if I-485 will be pending at VSC over 2 years.)
Senator - Kerry, helpful on 2nd fp notice. But could be busy (C)
(Successful examples:
cluesless123, received 2nd fp in a week after contacting this office, also got to know security check not passed first time)
Congressman(7th district) - Ed Markey. contact a woman called
Jackie Lavender at 781-396-2900, recently she has been very busy and never pick up phone. Visit her office is the best way to get help. She will either write email or call VSC. Urge her to call. After she call the office, in 4 weeks, you can get 2nd fp notice. (B-)

Congressman(10th district) - William Delahunt, very helpful. This office can contact VSC in a day and tell you results in a day. (A)

New Jersey
Senator Cozine, very professional, very helpful, very detail reply. Can help you to get 2nd fp notice. (A+)

help911, contacted senator's office by phone , then the immigration dept sent help911 a form and he filled out that form and submitted via post. He got a reponse, filed on hold for 60 days waiting for 2nd fp
edison_nj, still waiting for 2nd FP notice. contacted NJ Senator Jon S. Corzine during the last week of July 2003,got reply from Senator's office that BCIS will schedule his 2nd FP within 30 to 60 days during the last week of August 2003.

ramprak: after contacted this office, ramprak got his 2nd fp notice.
Based on him, this office replied in 3 days, ramprak got 2nd fp notice approximately in 4 weeks after contact
WheresMahGreen, office said that the case is "pending" and that he should re-check in 30 to 45 days for a "status update." WheresMahGreen contacted NJ Senator last week of August and they initiated an enquiry on 9/3/03. He received 2nd fp notice on 9/19.
New York
Senator Hillary Clinton - not helpful at all. Don't contact her. (F)
Senator Sue Kelly - helpful, can help to get 2nd fp notice(B)

Congressman Nita Lowey, helpful to get approvals(A)
(Successful examples, sai-2367, after contacted this office, sai-2367 got approval in 4 days, even with expired FP, and the office called him to inform the approval)
Pennyslvania
Congressman (1st district) - Robert Brady, help is little. (D-)

Connecticut
Senator Christopher Dodd - no use, no response(F)
(Examples:
manumahi contacted senator's office, and didn't get any response in months. )
