Please help on how/where I should send the letter to Senator
Dear friends and gurus of the forum,
Special thanks to NY-NIW for providing a sample format-
----
I am one of those 'waiting for 485 people after the PD became current several months ago'
I am seeking your help in understanding a few things/terms as I am not familiar with the political system/structure in the US.I live in the state of NH.I am looking at the NH state's Congressional delegation list and I see 2 different sets of groups/people on their website:
http://www.nh.gov/nhcong/
Members of the House of Representatives- 2 people
Members of the Senate - 2 people
Who I should contact,I mean, the House of Rep's or a member of senate. I am assuming that I have to contact a member of 'Senate'.Is that true?
-Does it matter/How do I choose to which senator I should write a letter to? any clues?
-Is the word 'senator' a subset of the word 'congressmen'? OR are they different ?
-Finally, there are multiple offices listed on the website for the senator in the same state(NH).How do I know where I should mail the letter to in NH?
FYI..4 cities/addresses listed in NH
Could you provide this information so that I can write a letter to the congressional delegate and see what happens.
Do we have to provide any details other than the following:
Name: xxxxxxx
A number
I-485 EAC-xxxxxxxxx
Receipt Date
Service Center
I really appreciate it if you could provide the above information.
Thank you in advance,
-Sai
