Congress man or Senator who can help I-485 in MI

Did anyone in MI have the experience to contact with Senator or Congress man? If you did, how is it going?

I recently sent my details to Debbie Stabinaw.

I contacted her office over phone, they took my address and sent me a form to authorize them to seek my status from INS.

I filled and sent it about three weeks back. Waiting after that.

what is your RD ND date?

Wondering if Stabenow's office received your request based on your RD ND dates....

Read somewhere that some senator's office only take those requests from people whose RD ND dates are older than current USCIS official processing dates.

The reason why I would like to contact senator is my special case.

My husband filed my I-485 in Detroit based on family immigration in Oct, 02. In the meantime, my company also applied for LC for me. However, my husband always wants to use green card to threaten me. After my LC got approval in July, 2003, I asked my company to continue I-140/I-485 filed in Sep, 03 at NSC. I terminated I-485 filed in Detroit in order to get rid of confusion.

I do not know if it is too early to contact senator regarding my case.
