Congratulations to all Iraqi Voters. Freedom is on the march.

dont u think it is sad? i mean, if saddam's power was removed by iraqi ppl, like revolution. It is their own victory. they should be proud
but now some countries broke in and threw your government away...not because they care about your freedom or life, but their mutual interests........i dont really think this is something you should be proud of when telling the story to your kids....

besides, they abuse iraqi prisoners, what u think.....these prisoners are your own people

And democracy means that every ethnic/religious group participates in a nation's election. Sunnis and Christians did not participate in these elections. Sunnis felt that the majority Shiaa will retribute against them for centuries of oppressions and Christians fled the country because of Islamic fascists that roam this country. The day democracy comes to the Middle East will be my happiest day ever but Bush is not helping. You can never spread democracy if you are a racist person like this man. I am glad people gave him many fingers during the speech ( yeah i understand it is the index finger of election, but it is still a finger) :D

No matter wht you say about Bush and I dont really like Bush In general but you have to respect the man. He is more human than any president I have seen. He lets thing out as the way they are....I think Iran and Syria are in trouble..! If I was Bush, Iwould invade every 3rd world country and make it u.s..including mine! Hey all of them want to come here anyways? so why not make every 3rd world country ..The United states of America?...! Just a wild thought

If my government was doing this :

http://www.c-span.org/resources/pdf/hrdossier.pdf

(my government was doing pretty much the same to my people for near 50 years) Me, my family and other people in the camps I grew up would have welcomed any invasion to overthrow them and let me have elections so it all depends on which side of the coin you are.

I don't think so. If Iraqi has no oil, what wil be happen?

Call me dumb but I haven't really seen any decrease in gas prices for us in here...What has the iraqi oil given us?...I still pay 2.04 per gallon!

When Iraqi has the full capacity of producing oil, you will see the results.

Yes he is such a human being he caused the death of 100,000 Iraqis. Wantmygcnow are you for real?

Shamson...See you are sitting in America. The world power! To maintain as a world power, U.S will do anything. It got rid of russia by screwing up its own economy (late 80's early 90's) by spending enormous tax amount on weapons...

It just the survival of the fittest. I can bet you that if any middle eastern country had the resource and power to invade a country and rule..It would do in a heartbeat!

Bush's theory is...Let me get them before they get me. I tend to agree...If a person wants to kill me, I rather be the first to knock him off!

Yes lots of Iraq's were killed but U.S Soldiers are also givin their lives. I think after maybe 20-30 years, Iraqi freedom will be realized.

The problem is that he is not fighting the real enemy. Rather than fighting the evil Saudis who fund militant muslims all over the world, including here in California, he faught a secular guy who hated islamic terrorists. Look at Iraq now, it is a fertile soil to islamofasicts. Saddam, despite his evil, purged his country from these individuals. I agree with you that America has a real enemy, namely islamic fasicts, but come on, we need to fight the real enemy.Did you know that Saddam paid for the Christian Iraqi church in northern california and after he was deposed 90 % of Iraqi Christians fled to syria and Jordan and their churches got bombed. Bush spent 250 billion dollars in his failing adventure in iraq and made it more radical than it had ever been. Read the news: followers of Iraq Ayatullah are defeating Allawy, the pro-US guy. Why? Because Bush instilled more hate in the hearts of these folks since he acted in such a stupid sick way. He is supporting many fascist regimes in the Middle East and is not pushing them for reform. The $ 250 billion dollars could have changed the middle east for good. Moderates of the middle east, can not even speak about democracy anymore because people would accuse them of treason. That is great Bush!!

Shamson, I agree with you 100%. But Saudis have the money...Saudi Arabia is the world's Biggest human violaters. Everyone made a big deal on how the Taliban executed criminals in front of a full packed stadium..Well guess what? Every friday after normal prayers, thats done in Saudi Arabia...Taliban came from Saudi Arabia..just because Saudis have the money...Women can't drive in Saudi Arabia..There are no movie theatres where Women are allowed...

But Saddam was also a human rights violater..True he wasn't an islamic fanatic..but he was a dictator...the fact that his foreign secretary was a christian explains a lot about Saddam...!...It was his other things that brought him down..

Bush also never learned from history. We decided to invade Vietnam because they chose to be communists. What happened as a result? 80,000 US soldiers and one million Vietnamese perished. Also Vietnam remained to be a communist country and we never recovered from our military defeat there. Most people in the Middle East want fair elections but the problem is that they are so paralyzed by their blind religious faith. In Algeria there was a free election more than 10 years ago. Guess who wins? The fanatic Muslims did, which prompted the army to take over the country and that led to a civil war in that country in which thousands were murdered by Islamic fanatics. The same thing is happening now in Iraq and they voted in a party backed by a religious yahoo called Ayatullah Sistanie. Also in Palestine, they voted for parliament members backed by the terrorist Hamas group. Until Muslims in the Middle East separate their mosque from their state there will be no hope. There was a rapidly growing secular movement there but thanks to Bush it is dead and no one cares about it now. Rather, religiously-inclined political pundits rule there. The $ 250 Billion spent in this current war could have been spent to back up moderates and to start new markets in the Middle East to modernize it and let it develop. They could have been also spent to expose the religious fanatics and fight terrorist organizations, especially those located in Saudi Arabia. Look, Bush got his advice from religious yahoos in America who want a new Armageddon in the Middle East so that Jesus can come back. They wanted the Middle East to turn into a war torn place for Jesus to come back and fulfill this Biblical Prophesy. He also got his advice from Jewish Zionists in his administrators who are as extreme as the Muslim ones. In short, believe in God as you want but one you got tangled in a religion then you will have a superiority inclination and you will start thinking that your religion is the best. What will then happen next is that you will be blinded by your religion and you will never be objective in tackling challenges whether you are Bush or Fahd or Sharon. I know one day the Middle East will be secular but seculars in the Middle East suffered a huge blow thanks To Bush and his fanatcism and stupidity.
P.S. I say "We" because I consider myself American having lived here for 13 years. I will also apply for my citizenship in less than 2 years."

Stop guys. Don't waste tme on Iraqi, actually we can't do nothing for it.

The important thing for us is to do something for our asylees. The immigration reform is ahead. But noboy is considring us, including ALIA. In the press release on Feb 3, 2005, there is nothing related to asylees in "It Is Time to Reform Our Immigration System".

We really to take something actions for ourselves.

Nobody knows who is a bad guy when politicians play games. It is nonsense to talk about all that staff.nobody knows what is real aim of those events ,actions.i cannot accuse jewish or muslims or other people in all that. . Probably someone is evil here.U said "WE" is me . If u consider youself american.Probably U decide when u vote . But I dont think u decide to attack IRAQ or Vietnam .He decides for u what to do . U are not able to decide his actions. and He doesnt have right to decide life of other nations because those nations didnt vote for him.u are right Vietnam the same example but it was really different because Vietnamese people were fighting for freedom not for communism .Communist countries were supplying weapons to kill americans . it was reverse in afghanistan+ religion.Soviets faced religion too which is not easy to change in people.
U might be able to change political opinion like communism or capitalism But u can never change religion in people. U might need a few centuries.
 :)
