congratulations GCkaJhanjhat.
I agree with desiladka that GC approval is a very happy occasion for any one, whether it comes within 1 year or after 3 years of waiting. The approval clears all the clouds/obstacles for one to live freely (free from INS) in this country. Though we all assume that our GC will be approved, the truth will come out only when it is approved. So every one should celebrate the I485 approval.

Being on the same side as you, I totally understand when you say that its laughter you get than happiness.

You've reached a milestone after years on a long journey. Give it a few days to sink in!

Its not so much happiness or joy we feel, its sheer relief. Its nice to be able to share these emotions with others on a forum like this.

I got lucky with the ohata memo - scraped through 10 days before the retrogression. I'm sure processing my case took some resources away from old timers like you. I cannot say I wish that had not happened, but I do wish that they can introduce some semblance of fairness in the system!

As some of you said I expressed my feeling. I never said I do not want GC or I felt sad on approval or I do not care. All I said was it lost its charm to great extent - as some one compared aptly with marriage in old-age.

Probably desiLadka got half mad for counting seconds during the waiting period. Be careful man .... if you continue to think so, you may totally loose your mind and fail to even realize the approval :D ...
you may start speaking something like:
GC kyaa hia? mai kahaa hoo? INS bahut tej chalta hai...

---
What is GC? where am I ? INS is very fast :D

Can you please confirm to all the member if you have been approved or not. As far as I belive you are already approved, but I feel some of the users here think you are not approved.

Besides, I do agree I am totally loosing my mind. I should take control of it. I dont know if you are approved. But when I thought you are approved and you said you dont feel happy about it and stuff, I totally lost my mind and actaully wanted to do all that Shakti Kapoor does. But somehow managed not to do it. Anyway nothing personal dude.

If you are already approved. Congrats.
If you are not. Wish you luck.

Got the cards in less than 10 days.

I did not receive RFE.

Not sure how far it is true but - I heard that very delayed cases are not getting RFE.

Sincere advice to desiLadka - ( I practiced myself in last 6 months)
Do not count days during waiting -

I really don't understand your mail of congratulations since you are approved. what are you trying to prove in here..

I am really not happy about your post. I am many others are waiting very desperately for approval. You are already approved. Have fun and please leave us alone.
