Confusion: Is my case concurrent filing or not?

1] I filed 140 in July 2007 [Labour sub] in TSC. 140 is approved from TSC/

2] We wiled 485 from NSC in Aug 2007.

Does my case fall under concurrent filing ?

Also somewhere on the forums, it is written that for concurrent 140/485 filings, 140 cannot be adjudicated until 485 is ready for processing which means name check and finger prints are cleared.

I will really appreciate if anyone can help and tell me whether my case is concurrent filing or not?

Thank you soo much!

Sunny

Concurrent filing means submitting 140 and 485 at the same time. Since you submitted separately your filing is non-concurrent.

Nope. Actually its called "semi-concurrent". So they still get processed concurrently, and the service center will try to link up the two applications. Whether that actually happens depends on the service center.

So if my filing is semi-concurrent, does it still mean that since 140 is approved, so 485 is ready for adjudication and name check is cleared as for concurrent processing 140 is approved only when 485 is in ready state to be adjudicated?

Thanks,
Sunny
