Confusion abour CP

Hi,
PLease help me in this issue. I applied my green card processing
through very good company.Now i am in 140 stage. I am planning to
go to consular processing. My wife got H1 in feb 2000 but till now
she doesn\'t have job and on her passport visa stamping is valid up to
2000 sept. On my passport visa stamping is up to 2003,but for my wife
extension papersfor h4 are there till 2003 but only stamping on passport
is not there. FOR AOS i heard we have to pay 1000$ fine, but i don\'t
know about CP.Will this create any problem for me in CP.

You will be dead if you go for CP

From my understanding she is out of status.
245 (i) is the only option for you if you qualify.
One should not try to go for CP, if he/she is/was out of status.
Since that might complicate the issue.
Check with a good attorney and don\'t rely on opinions offered for free like mine.
Most of the attorneys don\'t know the difference between 245(i) and 245(k).. Check with a good attorney
