confusing question

dear friends,

please help

i lost my i797 h1b approval notice with i94(filed by privious employer)

presntly working for the client using AC21(with ead)
i have my valid ap also

questions:
1. can i travel out without surrndering my valid i94?
2.When i comeback is there going to be any problem at the port of entry?
3.after 485 approval, is there any problem in getting my passport stamping at local ins office?

(in both situations)if they ask for the h1b approval what shoul i do?

experts please help

----- you can get the duplicate copy I hope you have to fill up a form and have to pay the fees to BCIS. Or go to Canada or Mexico if you have valid H1 Visa stamp in your Passport and can get new I-94 when enter US by Border or airlines Ask the lawyer he/she will be the best for your concern

--- You have to surrender I-94 at airline counter before departure from US (if going to Canada or Mexico less than 30 days no need to surrender)
2.When I comeback is there going to be any problem at the port of entry?
If don’t surrender I-94 you may face problems (except going to Canada Mexico less than 30 days) you should ask your lawyer.
3.after 485 approvals, is there any problem in getting my passport stamping at local ins office?
------ If your I-485 is approved what is the problem in getting PP stamp at local BCIS office? Did not understand your question.

----After filing I-485 you can be on H1 status or can be on EAD (AOS Pending), BCIS have every info about your H1b approval, (you may be having copy of H1b approval) I-94 #and its validity in BCIS computer system. . Normally they don’t ask for H1 Original Approval Notice when you go to local BCIS office for Temporary GC stamp. They may ask you to surrender I-94, AP, EAD card, may ask for tax returns or W-2, New photo, Employer letter, may ask you to go for medicals or fingerprints again (if expired).
