Confused ! Should I hire a lawyer?
My BS.C.S from Philippines and got evaluated to 3 years community college diploma in Canada.
As for my understanding it should do the job for getting TN as min requirement is
2 year Post Secondary diploma from within Canada but in a previous posting a Guru said that three year equivalence will not work.
I talked to a lawyer about my situation and he said it should do the job.
Now I am thinking if this equivalence is going to work then why should I spend $1000 and up on lawyer.
I talked to employer and he said there are other applicants like me who have degrees from third world countries have got TNs successfully without any lawyer's help.
Any comments guys ......I am confused whether to hire lawyer or not???
